WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT - WHAT SETS US APART

We, the owners of this company, are not 'construction people' as
typically defined, but instead two people who started a
construction company after experiencing completely unrelated
careers.  Our backgrounds are unique when compared to our
competition.

Whenever we mention our past careers (NYC Finance/Wall
Street and Airline Pilot) to our customers, most question the
change and ask what we're doing in the construction industry.
The list of reasons is long, but the relevant importance is that our
past allows us to offer "an intelligent, unique & refreshing
approach" to your  project.  With clear and focused thought, but
everything at risk as Owners, we chose to start this business as
entrepreneurs who produce exceptional products, but who do it
with unmatched efforts, pro-activity, creativity, innovation, and
most importantly.....communication.

When compared to most construction business owners, our unique
backgrounds and professional experiences, combined with our
extended efforts, overall operational philosophies, and vested
company interest, allow us to offer a level of service that others
simply cannot.  Here are a few supporting points:

  • Customer Satisfaction – Many of our clients have had less
than ideal situations with other contractors.  With most of
our business based on repeat customers or client referral, we
are proud to offer each and every one of our past clients as
references who recommend us.  Not many contractors can
say the same.  Visit “Customer Comments” on our website
    for a few testimonials.

  • We Simply Try Harder – It’s about the proper attitudes and
personalities.  We are not 9-5 salaried employees, but instead
vested owners committed to the success of our company.  It is
absolutely acceptable for us to meet you at your office or your
job-site at 5 am or 10 pm, weekday or weekend. We know
that if you won't recommend us when the project is
complete, we have failed and our company cannot survive.
We remind ourselves, our employees and our subcontractors
of this fact daily, and embrace it as motivation.  This level of
personal service is simply who we are, what you deserve, and
what you should expect….without negativity, complaints, or a
    bill for overtime hours.

  • “Over-Communicate” & Assume Nothing – We cover all
bases, avoid problems, and achieve successful projects largely
due to excessive communication with our clients and
subcontractors.  We’re not afraid to ask questions or
comment on topics that might be considered ‘given.’

  • Our size – Each and every client and job gets daily personal
attention from one of the company owners.  We select our
workload to maintain this level of service.

  • Proactive vs. Reactive – In addition to closely monitoring
our jobsites to anticipate and solve issues in the field before
they become problematic, we put ourselves in the shoes of
our clients to anticipate and address questions and concerns
before he or she needs to ask.
